Department of basic Education has implemented Three Phases of PYEI to date and the contracts of the youth who are currently participating in the and another one will be open for taking application
The Duration of the Contract will Be a (9 Months contract)no additional time will be used in favour.
Stipend amount will be R5081.44 per month.1% of UIF Contribution will be deducted from the stipend amount.
APPLICATION
Now, the steps to apply for this programme are as follows:
- Go to sayouth.mobi/p/dbe. The site is free, so you can visit even without any balance.
- Register – for this process you only take 4 minutes of your time.
- If you are already registered in SA Youth or Harambee, you can just log in using your account details.
- After registering, you can find opportunities in the schools closest to the address. If you still can’t find any, try to search for “education assistant” or “general assistant“.
- You have 3 weeks to apply. And because there’s no effect on the time you apply, and you’re being selected so you can try when the system is not busy.
- For reference number HAR2293, the contract will start on 1 March – 30 September 2024. While for reference number HAR2296, the contract will start on 1 February 2024 and 1 May 2024
